Beverly residence was designed to have Georgian Traditional style on the outside
and open plan on the inside. The residence contains a total of seven bedrooms and eight full bathrooms and is in nearly 15,000 square feet. In order to create privacy and allow for a smooth entry into the basement level with an eight-car garage, the front yard includes a horseshoe driveway and tucked behind the lush greenery and vine-covered wall.
The entry of the house opens to a 24-foot central foyer with an oval grand staircase. The first floor was designed more as one open floor space divided by double-sided fireplaces, into three areas: a pub area, a formal dining, and a great room. The pub area with floor-to-ceiling wine storage and a chiseled limestone fireplace was planned to host a grand piano and to be used as a lounge area. The middle area hosts a formal dining room and is followed by the great room which blends into the kitchen. The concept behind the kitchen was to create a space that can be used by the chef as well as to host relaxed family evenings. These three areas are united by the vast sliding pocket doors that allow to create the space that seemingly transitions into the back yard.
The second floor holds most of the seven bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, including a master suite. The master suite also has an open plan, separated into a sitting area with vaulted ceilings and bedroom, by the minimalist double-sided fireplace. French doors unite spaces and open to a slim terrace with a view over the manicured backyard. Each side of the master suite features his and her bedroom with a marble-lined shower and a night-time view of the neon lights at the western end of the Sunset Strip.
The rear yard which starts at the edge of the deep loggia for relaxed al fresco dining and lounging includes a large pool cabana and a tennis court. The cabana characterized by boundless banks of glass sliders that vanish into the wall, includes a spacious pool bar, gym, and one extra bedroom. Beyond the swimming pool and spa, a lighted tennis court is backed by trees and the Sunset Strip skyline.
